When a client from Texas approached us with a custom idea, a collaboration centered on lighting effects and trust was ignited.

‘’We really like the design of this solar lamp—it's very minimalist. However, the solar version isn't bright enough for our project, which requires a brighter light that can be directly plugged into a power source for use in the United States.‘’

This requirement goes far beyond simply “removing the solar panels.” It initiated a systematic upgrade from the drive system to the light source. Our business specialist Linda and the technical team took on this challenge, collaborating to deliver a solution that exceeded the customer's expectations.

The original solar luminaire selected by the client, with its brightness (About 390 lumens at 3000K color temperature), is suitable for ambient lighting. However, the client's new project requires it to serve as the primary lighting source, meaning the luminous efficacy must achieve a significant leap in performance.

What we provide to our customers is not merely a simple part replacement, but a deeply integrated optical system solution.

1. Core Driver Upgrade: Selecting a 12W High-Current UL-Certified Driver
To achieve a leap in brightness, we first upgraded the core power source. We selected a high-quality 12W UL-certified driver, whose stronger and more stable current provides the foundation for illuminating higher-brightness light sources.

2.Light Source System Reinvention: Custom High-Efficiency LED Light Panels
To accommodate the 12W driver power supply, we must upgrade the LED chips for compatibility.
Standard light panels cannot handle and efficiently convert the higher current output of a 12W driver. Therefore, we simultaneously redesigned and customized dedicated high-efficiency LED light panels. Through optimized circuitry and layout, we ensure every watt of electrical energy is efficiently converted into light energy.

3. A Quantum Leap in PerformanceThis systematic upgrade—featuring a more powerful driver paired with a dedicated light board—has propelled the luminaire's luminous flux from approximately 390 lumens in the original solar version to 1,500 lumens. This nearly fourfold increase in brightness perfectly meets the client's application requirements.

4. Dual Certification, Double Assurance
This customization endows the product with a trustworthy “dual identity”—the luminaire itself retains ETL certification, while the newly upgraded driver has obtained UL certification. This provides robust safety endorsement for the product's entry into the U.S. market.

Once the solution was finalized, we promptly provided complimentary prototyping for the client, bringing this customized system to life.

After the sample underwent installation and testing in Texas, the client's feedback was swift and positive: “The brightness fully meets our design requirements! We would like to place an order.”

From precise requirement alignment to reliable sample validation, trust was solidly established at every step. The final order confirmation followed naturally.
